Amo ir a leer a una cafetería, si el lugar es hermoso, nuevo y vacío, es mejor. Así estrené el nuevo café que montaron dentro del Palacio de Hierro del Centro Histórico con entrada por la calle de 5 de febrero.
I love going to read to a cafeteria, if the place is beautiful, new and empty, it is better. This is how I went for the first time to the new cafe opened inside the El Palacio de Hierro Store with entrance at 5 de Febrero street.
I loved the decoration, it suddenly felt like being inside an art deco cafe from the 20's - 30's with a large window to the street, like those in the cafés on Paris, windows to watch people go by while Letting yourself be seen and also be voyeur. A vibe of the Wiener Werkstätte, with its marked, hard, black, contrasting lines. The horror was the coffee, although I usually take an espresso, or macchiato, I ordered a cappuccino, so it was like water to me and maybe I exaggerate and it was good. Then I regretted not asking for a fig cake, but it was two in the afternoon and I didn't want to ruin my dinner. So I will surely will go back and sit in that place for coffee, eating a fig tarte and watch people go by.
